As 11-year-old internet sensation Mason Ramsey continues to make headlines for his buzzworthy talent, he’s released two more tracks: “The Way I See It” and “Jambalaya (On The Bayou),” that are available now across all major online retailers and streaming networks.
The sweet lyrics of original love song “The Way I See It” were written by Rodney Clawson (Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan), Josh Kear (Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood), and Corey Crowder (Chris Young, A Thousand Horses), as “Jambalaya (On The Bayou)” is another iconic hit from Hank Williams, Sr. which Ramsey adds his own modern flair. This spirited rendition follows his recently released “Lovesick Blues” (Hank Williams, Sr.) recording, with Billboard praising, “Ramsey nails the vocals of the tune, as expected, as well as his characteristic yodels.” The classic jumpstarted Ramsey’s career after he was discovered performing it in an aisle of his local Walmart in Harrisburg, IL.
Keeping his star-rising momentum hot, the Big Loud Records and Atlantic Records artist made his breakout debut with “Famous” – penned by Tyler Hubbard, Corey Crowder, Sarah Buxton (Chris Lane, Keith Urban), and Canaan Smith (Florida Georgia Line, Love & Theft) – which skyrocketed to #1 on the iTunes Country Songs chart and has since sold 300K+ US copies. His wildly popular web community also keeps thriving as he’s garnered 2.4 million Instagram followers in just three months.
After stacking high-profile red carpet appearances like the Radio Disney Music Awards, CMT Music Awards, and Billboard Music Awards, plus major festival performances including CMA Fest, iHeartCountry Festival, Stagecoach, and Coachella, he’ll next appear at Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s 25th annual NASCAR weekend for Florida Georgia Line’s inaugural outdoor FGL Fest on September 8. Later on this year, he’ll team up with the MULTI-PLATINUM global entertainers again as direct support for their five-nights-only residency, Florida Georgia Line LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS, inside Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on December 1, 5, 7, 8, and 11.
