Luke Bryan to Flip The Switch for “Opry Goes Pink“

The Grand Ole Opry and four-time Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan will join together in the fight against breast cancer on Tuesday, October 22 with a two-show edition of Opry Goes Pink. Bryan, who is enjoying his second week at #1 with current single “Knockin’ Boots,” will flip the switch on the Opry’s signature barn backdrop, turning it pink for the night as the superstar takes the stage to perform an intimate and rare acoustic set on both shows that evening. “I wanted to make this Opry appearance something special,” shared Bryan about the acoustic performance. “Performing in the Opry circle is unlike any other stage in the world and I want it to be a unique memory for me and the fans.”Among others already announced as joining Bryan on the show will be Anita Cochran, Sara Evans, Craig Morgan, and the Oak Ridge Boys.

Beginning today, when fans order tickets, $5 from every ticket sold will be donated to Susan G Komen® for the fight against breast cancer. On Nashville.com, tickets for the 7 p.m. show are on sale here and tickets for the 9:30 p.m. show are on sale here.

This year’s Opry Goes Pink is sponsored by JTV (Jewelry Television). “As the leading retailer of jewelry and gemstones in the U.S., JTV is proud to partner with the Grand Ole Opry, an iconic brand and what many would consider the crown jewel of country music,” said Tim Engle, Chief Strategy Officer, JTV.  “As our neighbor in the great state of Tennessee, JTV’s 1,500 employees are honored to support such a great cause, which impacts so many women.”
