Nashville.com is excited to premiere “Gypsy Soul” featured on country artist, Zach DuBois’, upcoming album Flâneur – available September 22. “I’m a huge fan of Texas Country and the Red Dirt sound, and we definitely tried to capture that vibe with ‘Gypsy Soul,’ said Zach. “We came up with that first line – ‘Her hair was fire in the Sante Fe sunrise’ – and kind of ran with it from there.” We think this is Zach’s most dazzling composition as he lets himself become a part of his surroundings throughout Flâneur, encouraging his listeners to explore. Check it out for yourself below.
In this song Zach returns to his roots without fully retreating beneath them. “I’m really excited to release the entire album and share these songs with the world. For the past 6 years I’ve traveled around the country (and parts of Europe) immersing myself in the local culture – eating, drinking, and exploring the moment – and that’s where all these songs were born. I can’t wait to get back out on the road and play these songs,” said Zach. We think this third album will be his best as he returns to something closer to his origins.
