Bonnaroo Organizers Announce “Ready to Roo” Tour

Bonnaroo organizers announced today the 2019 “Ready to Roo” tour.  Set to launch on March 18 in Nashville, Atlanta, Chicago and Tampa, “Ready to Roo” will make stops in 14 cities across the country with more than 35-pop-up events created to bring the spirit of the festival to the hometowns of fans and those interested in learning more about the Bonnaroo experience.
“Ready to Roo” events will feature games, drink specials and chances to win festival tickets. In several cities, Bonnaroovians will have the opportunity to participate in volunteer activities to enhance their communities. Designed to unite fans in their hometowns, locally beneficial activities will include beach cleanups, letter writing campaigns, animal encounters and nature walks. “Ready to Roo” has partnered with organizations including We Are Neutral, Oxfam, HeadCount and The Nashville Food Project to Radiate Positivity and spearhead activities in the selected cities.
“The special thing about Bonnaroo is that our fans have always been as committed to the spirit of the festival as they are to the music,” said Ashley Capps, co-founder of Bonnaroo. “These unifying activities create a sense of community that transcends their time at the festival, and the service projects in select cities underscore Bonnaroo’s focus on social good and ‘radiating positivity,’ which is part of the Bonnaroovian code.”
As an added perk, Ready to Roo will offer the option for participants to purchase Bonnaroo tickets at the previous tier price. Bonnaroovians who already have their tickets can refer friends for ticket purchases and receive $10 food and drink credits redeemable onsite at the festival while supplies last. Those interested can explore the event lineup, RSVP and sign up for competition components at bonnaroo.com/ready-to-roo/.
