Discovery Flights take off from the same runways at Nashville International Airport used by the big commercial airliners. Before departure, you’ll climb into the cockpit of a single-engine Cessna 172 or Piper Arrow and sit in the pilot’s seat. After a short introduction to the flight instruments and controls, you and the instructor will take to the skies. During the flight, you’re likely to see downtown Nashville, along with local sights, neighborhoods, lakes and rivers below.
