Here’s Your Chance To Perform At CMA Fest

For the first time ever, Black River Entertainment is set to host the newly created ‘60-Second Spotlight’ at the Music City Center during the 2019 CMA Music Fest, June 6 – 9. Black River’s ‘60-Second Spotlight’ is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to perform before an audience of music industry professionals with one minute on the clock to make a lasting impression! Participants can sign up on 60SecSpotlight.com beginning May 31 or at XFINITY Fan Fair X (booth 170) between June 6 and June 8.

Taking place in the Music City Center, the ‘60-Second Spotlight’ stage provides the opportunity for anyone to perform live in front of an audience and industry professionals including Black River Entertainment’s President & CEO Gordon Kerr, Executive Vice President Rick Froio and Vice President of A&R Doug Johnson. The three executives have more than 70 years of combined experience in the music industry and are looking forward to seeing some of the country’s brightest new talent.

“There is so much talent in the world and these days, it seems that discovering talent can happen in many different ways,” said Black River Entertainment’s President & CEO Gordon Kerr. “At Black River, we love gathering together to hear new talent perform in a comfortable setting, as we do in our new space called ‘The Deck.’ Our desire through the ‘60-Second Spotlight’ is to create a similar environment where an aspiring artist/songwriter has the opportunity to share their talent and take one more step towards their dream. We see ‘60-Second Spotlight’ as an opportunity to bring ‘The Deck’ experience to the fans of Country music at CMA Music Fest and possibly discover incredible new talent. You just never know what could happen…”

Open to participants 18 years or older, performers can sign up at 60SecSpotlight.com beginning May 31 or at the Black River Entertainment booth in XFINITY Fan Fair X (booth 170) between June 6 and 8. Due to security restrictions, personal instruments are not permitted inside Music City Center. However, Fender guitars and a Nord keyboard will be provided on stage for participants’ use.
