A fluently bilingual performer of mixed Polish and Québécois descent, he writes and sings material in both English and French. He’s a captivating live performer, the kind who can get a room quiet with some Nick Drake-level acoustic guitar acrobatics and an arresting falsetto. Holubowski plays on Saturday at the New Music On Tap Lounge from 1:15pm-2:00pm. Matt is preparing for a busy summer: Aside from the a Ben Folds tour and Bonnaroo, he’ll be performing at Osheaga and on a series of debut US dates. He’ll be releasing his first US-available music later this year.
