Chris Tomlin Launches “Worship Night in America Tour”

Chris Tomlin will launch his Worship Night In America Tour TodayThursday, April 5 in Rochester, New York at the Blue Cross Arena. Last week in Nashville, Tomlin and the tour’s special guests rehearsed prior to the unofficial tour kick-off, ‘Good Friday Nashville.’ The demand for tickets to the second annual Good Friday show forced additional seating to open 360 degrees around Bridgestone Arena. The concert benefitted Tennessee Kids Belong, the state chapter of National non-profit America’s Kids Belong, who have seen tremendous success in the last year with increases in new foster families and more children being placed in forever families. The Worship Night In America Tour (WNIA) will play 24 cities across the U.S. this spring including Chicago, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Philadelphia and more. CLICK HERE for Chris Tomlin Tickets!

“We are bringing together different streams of the church as represented by each artist on this tour,” said Tomlin. “That’s the heart behind WNIA and even as we have different ways of having church what we have in common is worship. All the artists being onstage leading worship together each night in unity is powerful.”

Kim Walker Smith of Jesus Culture, Matt Maher, Christine D’Clario, Tauren Wells, and Pat Barrett will all join Tomlin onstage from the beginning of each show. Darren Whitehead is the guest speaker.

To build on the success of Tennessee Kids Belong, Tomlin will continue to support children in foster care by partnering with America’s Kids Belong (TKB parent company) and use his time traveling across the country on the WNIA tour to meet with church and community leaders in each city. Their collective effort seeks to end the foster care and adoption crisis by uniting government, faith-based, business and creative communities – state by state.
