Cowboy Troy Releases New Single “As Long as It’s in Texas”

Cowboy Troy has released The first single off of his upcoming album, Laugh With Me. The new single, “As Long as It’s in Texas,” makes it clear Cowboy Troy is as comfortable singing traditional country as he is singing his trade marked “Hickhop” songs.  Laugh With Me will be released on May 18, 2018 and has something for everybody, traditional country, spoken word and of course Hickhop! ” “It’s a smorgasbord” says Troy, “If you go to the buffet you want to try a little bit of everything”

The singer recently moved from Nashville back to Texas (Upshur County) and the new single shows much love to his native state. “We loved our time in Nashville but there was an opportunity in Texas and we decided to take that. All of my business interests are still in Nashville.” He’ll also be closer to his dad who lives in Dallas.

Cowboy Troy says he likes to hang out at The Stage and various places on Broadway when he’s in town. “I’ll make the Redneck Riviera, John Rich’s new bar, which already has a location in Las Vegas, my base when I come to Nashville when it opens.”
