Bagelshop’s New Year, All Year series continues with a special collaboration between Bagelshop and Chef Javier Salado of Soy Cubano, celebrating Cuban traditions in the New Year. Drawing inspiration from Javier’s heritage, the two teams have created two limited-time sandwiches—Good Morning Elena and Pan Con Lechon Cubano—available exclusively at Bagelshop from January 7 through 9. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Nashville Food Project.

• The Sandwiches:
  • Good Morning Elena: Named after Elena Ruz Valdés-Fauli, a Havana socialite who convinced a local restaurant to add her favorite sandwich to their menu. Traditionally made with cream cheese, turkey, and strawberry jam, Javier’s take on this classic features cream cheese, ham, and guava, served on your choice of bagel.
  • Pan Con Lechon Cubano: A traditional Cuban New Year’s favorite, served on a fresh plain bagel with slow-roasted Mojo pork, melty Swiss cheese, sautéed onions, crispy potato sticks, and a house-made garlic aioli.
