Sips N Strokes welcomes those of all ages to come and create their own masterpieces. They post photos of what the class will paint on their calendar so you know what to expect. Plus, you can bring a bottle of wine with you! This isn’t necessarily an art gallery as much as a place to express yourself, or have a girls’ night or a date night.

5 – First Saturday Art Crawl – Downtown

This admission-free event is held on the first Saturday of every month. Over 1,000 people attend with presentations from local and world-famous artists. “First Saturday Art Crawl is a festive atmosphere with participating venues located along Fifth Avenue of the Arts and upstairs in the Historic Arcade – all welcoming the community to experience downtown Nashville as a center for art.”

This is a bit different, preservation station is a lighting and décor-type store that preserves architectural antiques and salvaged items from the US and Europe. “Great selection of salvage materials! Doors, mantels, newel posts, lighting and hardware galore,” Brenda W/Yelp.

2 – Wonders on Woodland – East End

Wonders on Woodland is located inside of the cutest ole’ Nashville-style house. It’s more of an antique shop than your typical art gallery, BUT antiques are art too you know. Make sure you look at your schedule though, because they are just open on Saturdays and Sundays 11a.m.-5p.m.
