The shows are typically free, but they are always open to donations. This month, they are running a school June 6-30, in case you’re interesting in learning a thing or two!

9 – CMA Music Festival – Downtown

“This is the Super Bowl of country music. If you’re a fan of this genre, the CMA Fest is one those things you must add to the bucket list,” Adam D/yelp. There are more country stars who perform at CMA fest than I could list. The 2016 Festival is scheduled from June 9-12.

8 – Wine on the River

The 14 th Annual Wine on the River is scheduled for September 10, 2016. General admission tickets will run you about $60 and VIP are about $85. Don’t stress men, there are breweries and distilleries who get in on the action too, such a Yazoo, Hap and Harry’s, Southern Pride Distillery Moonshine and more. Also, there is food from several different restaurants available.

“If you like movies, this is the place for you. You can get all of your tickets ahead of time online or at the box office located by the first floor of the parking garage,” Kristen Marie/Yelp.

5 – Tomato Arts Festival – Five Points

“The tomato art festival is full of fun people, food venders, and artisans.  We ate fried green tomatoes, BBQ brisket, Bloody Marys, Carmel corn, tomato cheese bread and tomato ice cream!” Melissa H/Yelp

3 – East Nashville Beer Festival – Edgefield

When: Annually, April 8, 2017.

Pizza and beer and grilled cheese and BEER. Ranking at number 3, The East Nasty Beer Fest is something you should mark your 2017 calendar for. You definitely want to get your tickets as early as possible, because they are known to sell out within hours.

2 – Live on the Green Music Festival – Downtown

The 2016 lineup is released June 23, 2016. Warning: VIP tickets are non-refundable and they will play through the rain. Otherwise, you are more than welcome to attend the event for free at your discretion. There is craft beer, food truck and more around the event.

1 – 12 South Winter Warmer – 12 South

Nashville.com’s #1 is the 12 South Winter warmer. This is another event that reportedly sells out in minutes. “Featuring 35 hand-selected local, regional, and national craft breweries. As always we focus on stouts, porters, barley wines, winter seasonals, and anything out of a barrel (sours too).”
